Why I’m Freezing my Eggs, and the (Relatively) Painless Process

To freeze or not to freeze? It’s not a decision I made lightly. After hemming and hawing, conjuring multiple doom and gloom scenarios, I decided I absolutely needed to freeze my eggs for the following reasons:

  1. Cost: My wonderful employer partners with Progyny, a fertility insurance provider which covers nearly all of the procedural costs, minus the medication.
